Homework Week 6

I tried to use Soketi, a WebSocket broker thingy for the first time this week. Knew about this service since the first time I setup Coolify last year. Been wanting to use it. This week got the opportunity when my manager asked me to create an Electron app prototype of some sort of notification service. Basically someone can post a message that will be broadcasted company wide. I implemented it in 4ish hours. This is the first time I use Electron since 2022, BrainFreeze project. Both my frontend, java(type)script, and overall coding been improving so much since then. Writing Electron app is also feels so much better now. Backend to frontend communication must be set up in certain way that feel more secure than in the past.
Gold price peaked so much this week, I think it will keep increasing for quite some time. So me and my gf decided to try buying some. But there’s no stock available.
I tried to use and implement a crypto trading bot. I use ChatGPT to implement a simple strategy using two EMA indicator. Will try to run it in dry mode for quite some time. So far, it doesn’t work out great. I will need to implement a better, more proper strategy later.
Grieving is such a weird emotions. I drove my car from my office to kos singing happily, got a message from my best friend that reminded me of my mom, then drive cryingly back home. Also, it was clear weather, then raining. What a mood. Still in the same theme, I visited my gf’ dad at hospital. This particular hospital, the one where … let’s just say this place made my grieving a bit worse.
